STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

  1. 1. General Agreement
  2. By purchasing any course, training, or event ticket from SDM Training Group LLC (“SDM,” “we,” “our,” “us”), you (“participant,” “client,” “customer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all purchases made online, in person, or through any SDM-managed platform.

  3. 2. Payment Requirements

    • Payment is due in full at the time of booking or purchase.

    • No reservation, seat, or training slot is held without completed payment.

    • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other options listed at checkout.

  4. 3. No Refund Policy

    SDM Training Group maintains a strict no-refund policy for all courses, trainings, and event tickets.

    However, we recognize that life-or-death emergencies can occur. In these rare and verifiable circumstances, SDM may, at its sole discretion, offer:

    • A one-time transfer to a future course or event, or

    • A credit applied to another SDM program.

  5. All emergency-based requests must:

    • Be submitted in writing via email to the address listed on our website,

    • Include documentation supporting the emergency, and

    • Be received before the scheduled start time of the event whenever possible.

  6. 4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

    • All cancellation or reschedule requests must be submitted by email.

    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations, regardless of reason.

    • SDM may allow rescheduling only once per participant, and only if the request is made at least 14 days before the event date.

    • No rescheduling or credits will be granted for no-shows.

  7. 5. Extreme Circumstances Clause

    SDM reserves the right to evaluate extreme circumstances on a case-by-case basis, including:

    • Life-threatening medical emergencies

    • Death of an immediate family member

    • Active-duty military or law enforcement emergencies

    • Natural disasters affecting the participant’s ability to attend

  8. Approval is not guaranteed and is determined solely by SDM Training Group.

    6. Instructor & Safety Authority

    SDM instructors maintain full authority to:

    • Remove any participant who poses a safety risk,

    • Enforce all safety protocols,

    • Terminate participation for violations of law, intoxication, aggression, or unsafe behavior.

  9. Removed participants forfeit all payments and are not eligible for rescheduling or credit.

    7. Participant Requirements

    By registering, you affirm that:

    • You are legally allowed to participate in firearms or self-defense training.

    • You will follow all safety instructions and facility rules.

    • You will disclose any medical or physical conditions that may affect your participation.

    • You understand that training may involve physical exertion, simulated stress, and exposure to realistic scenarios.

  10. 8. Assumption of Risk

    Participation in firearms, self-defense, and tactical training carries inherent risks. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

    • Physical activity

    • Use of training equipment

    • Live-fire or simulated-fire environments

    • Emotional or psychological stressors

    • Actions of other participants

  11. SDM is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation.

    9. Media Release

    Unless you opt out in writing, you grant SDM permission to use photos, videos, or audio captured during training for:

    • Marketing

    • Educational content

    • Social media

    • Documentation

  12. Opt-out requests must be emailed prior to the event.

    10. Weather, Venue, & Operational Changes

    SDM may reschedule or relocate events due to:

    • Severe weather

    • Safety concerns

    • Instructor availability

    • Venue issues

  13. If SDM initiates a change, participants will be offered:

    • A new date, or

    • A credit toward another SDM program

  14. Refunds are not provided.

    11. Force Majeure

    SDM is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to provide services due to events outside our control, including:

    • Natural disasters

    • Government restrictions

    • Acts of terrorism

    • Utility failures

    • Public safety emergencies

  15. 12. Intellectual Property

    All SDM course materials, videos, manuals, and training content are protected intellectual property. Participants may not:

    • Copy

    • Distribute

    • Record

    • Publish

    • Share

  16. Any SDM content without written permission.

    13. Privacy & Data

    SDM does not sell or share personal information. Data is used solely for:

    • Registration

    • Safety compliance

    • Communication

    • Internal recordkeeping

  17. 14. Agreement to Terms

    By completing your purchase, you acknowledge:

  19. You agree to comply with all SDM policies.

  20. You understand that violation of these terms may result in removal without refund.
